Most of the election results are in at the time of this post. No real surprises. The futures are trading flat. All eyes are now on 2:15pm (Eastern Time) tomorrow when the Fed reports on QE2. I think we probably already know those results as well. Remember...the market always trades on the anticipation of the news or on the expectation of the event. There is a good chance that both the election and the QE2 announcement have already been traded. The professionals might use the news tomorrow to sell out of their positions. Since the Fed announcement will come near the end of the day, the market close will be very important. If I see anything significant, I will try to post something on the blog before the market closes.
